Physics and Mathematics Tutoring
I provide individual Physics and Mathematics tutoring via Zoom. Sessions are of one hour duration. Sessions cater for individual students ability.
I gauge the strength of a student’s understanding of Physics or Mathematics concepts and use structured learning routines to improve understanding in these areas. Emphasis is placed on the meaning of words, the performance of calculations, graphical work, setting out of work and writing mini essay answers to a high examination standard. Particular emphasis is placed on the systematic solution of examination style questions.
New sessions start with follow up questions to make sure that previous work has been understood and then proceed systematically through the syllabus content.

Rates for sessions held via Zoom start at $180 per hour, depending on the subject.
Rates for sessions outside of my home start at $250 per hour, dependent on the subject and actual location.
Please give me at least 48 hours notice if changing or cancelling a tutorial or you may incur a 50% cancellation fee
